Here at Fresno City College, we are quite proud of our program and believe that it provides comprehensive, top-quality training for persons interested in a career as a paralegal/legal assistant. We offer both day and evening classes which are taught by practicing attorneys and paralegals. These instructors bring to our classrooms their knowledge of the law and "real-world" experiences.

Our 37 semester-unit program meets the paralegal definition requirement established by California law. A student may obtain a Paralegal Program Certificate of Achievement or, by taking a few additional units, an Associate in Science Degree in Paralegal Studies.

Fresno City College was one of the first colleges nationwide to establish a chapter of Lambda Epsilon Chi (LEX). LEX is a national honor society that recognizes outstanding paralegal students.  The program is also listed in "The Paralegal 100" as one of the best paralegal programs in the country.

These are truly exciting times for the Paralegal Studies Program at FCC. We welcome you to join us.
